Global Award - Luxury Seafood restaurant received on 18th June 2016

How it worked...

This was a consumer based programme whereby our guests had the chance to submit reviews about our establishment to the organisers.  Winners were announced and presented with their awards on the 18th June 2016 at the Grand Hotel, Pontresina.

Aqua Restaurant was one of 8 in our category of Luxury Seafood Restaurant and had competitors such as Arwana Restaurant from Indonesia and Bridges restaurant from The Netherlands. The restaurants received a total of 28,654 votes collectively. http://www.luxuryrestaurantawards.com/listings

To follow are some shots of the evening we had, a wonderful group of people from all over the world representing their spa or restaurant with style and finesse.   A night to remember for sure!

It was the first year of awards for restaurants, we were really excited to have been approached and this year we were the only Irish restaurant featured.  

Having been presented with a Global Award based upon a public vote, we are truly thrilled. In an interview on the night, we felt strongly that there would be more Irish entries next year, as the event is incredibly well run and an accolade many of our compatriots in the Irish Restaurant scene would deserve if they are in the voting process.

Here is to 2017 and another superb event in Vietnam, no wonder we are enthused to be involved again!! Image below of us receiving our actual award on stage and receiving heartfelt congratulations from other worthy winners in attendance!
